Then there are players that remain with the first-team, but who would, in an ideal world, leave the club before the end of the window, such as Maxence Caqueret and Gift Orban.
### Joueurs disponibles à la vente
However, with Lyon desperate to sell before the end of the month in order to raise the €100m in player sales that they promised the DNCG, French football’s financial watchdog, other players, players they wanted to retain, are not untouchable. ### Transfert de Mamadou Sarr à Strasbourg
OL had been keen to retain the highly-rated centre-back, as evidenced by their rejection of Stade de Reims’ interest earlier in the summer. However, with too many players still on their books and with the days to the transfer deadline ticking down, Lyon are in need of sales and Sarr has had to be sacrificed. The France youth international is set to join BlueCo-owned Strasbourg on Wednesday and sign a five-year deal.
